A Net Zero Team Rooted in Sustainability

Safeguarding the future of our planet means the world to us.

Minimising our environmental impact is one of our core objectives, which is why we worked hard to smash our 2024 carbon reduction goals by planting over 1,000 trees through Tree Nation's groundbreaking global reforestation programme. To date, we've planted 2,800 trees, helping to capture a massive 649.29 tonnes of CO2! 

An incredibly busy start to 2025 is already driving progress towards this year's sustainability goals! As we continue to grow, so does our forest with Tree Nation because we plant trees for every invoice we issue. We’re also a Net Zero Team. Every month, we plant trees to offset emissions directly related to our team. We’ll amplify our impact as we welcome more brilliant people to the company! 

At iON Consultants, we often reflect on the purpose of our work and what drew us to health and safety in the first place. By prioritising safety and championing environmental responsibility, we're actively shaping spaces so both communities and nature can thrive. 

Tree Nation is an impressive global platform that engages in large-scale reforestation projects to combat deforestation and address climate change. With 50 planting sites worldwide, Tree Nation is leading the way in protecting ecosystems, restoring land and improving the lives of local communities. Every tree planted captures CO2, reducing our collective carbon footprint and contributing to a greener future. It just goes to show that small actions can make a big difference! 

Tree planting is now rooted in our daily operations. As well as planting trees for our customers and consultants, our website is carbon neutral, thanks to Tree Nation’s innovative offsetting programme.?Every visit to our website contributes to our reforestation efforts. In November, we proudly supported Tree Nation's #GreenFriday campaign, which promoted sustainable practices during the Black Friday shopping season. We raised awareness of overconsumption and pledged more trees for global reforestation projects. At Christmas, instead of traditional gifts, we planted ten trees in the name of each of our customers. This gesture allowed us to leave a legacy because a tree is for life, not just Christmas! 

Looking ahead, we’re committed to strengthening our partnership with Tree Nation. We'll continue contributing to monthly campaigns and exploring new ways to embed sustainability into our working day.
